Senior Pastor

Wong Fong Yang

Rev. Wong Fong Yang graduated from the University of Dundee, Scotland with a degree in Civil Engineering. He worked as an engineer for about 5 years from 1979 to 1984. He holds a Master of Divinity from Singapore Bible College and Master of Theology from Trinity Theological College, Singapore. He was the senior pastor of Gereja Grace Batu Pahat for 13 years. He planted CDPC Subang in July 2000 and he is the Senior Pastor of CDPC.

He delights in conversations with newcomers, outsiders and strangers, and connects easily with the downtrodden, homeless and marginalised due to the influence of his Master, Jesus Christ. It gives him great joy to see CDPC walking in his footsteps in this respect.

His passion includes travelling, street photography and books. He has authored two books: The Christian’s Dilemma concerning food offered to Idols and Church Discipline - The Dynamics of Shame. Married to Constance, they have two children - Sarah and Samuel.

Rev. Wong is currently in transition to pass the baton to the next generation of church leaders.
