Scripture: Luke 15

A very familiar text but the truths are eternal and need to be explored afresh. We explore 1) The definition of Lostness, 2) The condition of Lostness 3) The solution to Lostness

There is a younger brother lostness and an older brother lostness - Both seek the Father's possessions more than the father. In both situations we learn that to be lost is to forget who you are, whose you are and where you are going.

The younger brother tries to return by working his way back into the family. That is his solution to lostness. That is religion.

The father would not have any of it.  He restores him immediately. That is true Foundness. That is salvation by grace.
